I would like to know if it is Halal to take the hand of my wife in my hand when I go outside in public ? What about kissing her hand, as a gesture of affection to her (even if she wears Niqab and gloves) ? I think in Arab lands, this is not something practiced by the people, and I would like to know if this is due to customs and culture, or if there is a genuine Daleel behind that ?

This is one of the things that go against true manliness or chivalry (muru’ah). It is very cheap and vulgar to do this in front of people, because this is a kind of foreplay with one's wife in front of others. So keep away from doing such things. You can show your love for her in other ways, and when you are alone with her, you can do whatever you like, within reason. May Allaah help us and you to do all that is good.<\/p>\r\n<\/span><\/div>\r\n
