What is the evidence for that?.","answer":"Praise be to Allaah.  \r\nThe Sunnah indicates that it is prescribed to get married, and that it is one of the Sunnahs of the Messengers. By getting married a person can, with the help of Allaah, overcome many of the traps of evil, for marriage helps him to lower his gaze and guard his chastity, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in the hadeeth, \u201cO young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity\u2026\u201d Agreed upon. \r\n\r\nAl-Haakim narrated in al-Mustadrak from Anas, in a marfoo\u2019 report: \u201cWhomever Allaah blesses with a righteous wife, He has helped him with half of his religion, so let him fear Allaah with regard to the other half.\u201d \r\n\r\nAl-Bayhaqi narrated in Shu\u2019ab al-Eemaan from al-Raqaashi: \u201cWhen a person gets married he has completed half of his religion, so let him fear Allaah with regard to the other half.\u201d Al-Albaani said of these two hadeeths in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa\u2019l-Tarheeb (1916): \u201c(They are) hasan li ghayrihi.\u201d \r\n\r\nAnd Allaah is the Source of strength. \r\n\r\nAl-Lajnah al-Daa\u2019imah li\u2019l-Buhooth al-\u2018Ilmiyyah wa\u2019l-Ifta, 18\/31.","status":1,"created_at":"2014-10-30T20:51:57.000000Z","updated_at":"2014-10-30T20:51:57.000000Z","language_id":1,"fatawacate_id":34,"parent_id":8147,"author_id":"","books":[],"articles":[],"videos":[],"audios":[],"author_name":"","category_name":"Fiqh of the family - general","category_slug":"","get_date":"2014-10-30"},"translations":[],"fatawa_books":[],"fatawa_articles":[],"fatawa_videos":[],"fatawa_audios":[],"url":"http:\/\/islamland.com\/eng\/api\/fatawas\/8148"}
